EXCHANGES AND RETURNS POLICY

In light of the applicable rules (article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14), the Customer has the right to terminate the contract, up to 14 (fourteen) days, after the conclusion (time of order) without having to provide any motivation, except when it concerns sealed goods that cannot be returned, for reasons of health protection or hygiene when opened after delivery in accordance with paragraph e) of paragraph 1 of article 17. of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14th.

The period of free resolution expires: (i) after 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the customer (or a third party – other than the carrier – indicated by you) physically acquires the products included in your order, given that they are of a purchase of physical products.

The Customer may return the ordered product(s) 14 (fourteen) days after receipt, provided that:
a) The product(s) have not been used;
b) The product(s) maintain their original characteristics and labels intact;
c) The product(s) are complete. All materials accompanying orders must be returned.                                                                                                                  d)The product(s) must be accompanied by the respective invoice.


For the purpose of exchanges or returns, the Customer must contact BM via email returns@barbaramedeiros.com indicating the item(s) they wish to return, as well as the order number.

Any costs associated with exchanges and returns are borne by the customer. When the return has been made for reasons other than the justified existence of a defect or non-conformity of the products ordered, BM will not reimburse shipping costs. Therefore, BM will not reimburse shipping costs initially borne by the customer with the respective order nor customs fees.

Once the returned product has been received, BM will analyze and confirm its condition and, where applicable, will refund the amount paid for the item(s) within a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days at no expense to the customer. The refund will always be made using the payment method used, except for payments by bank reference and MBway. In these cases, the customer must provide, by email, the IBAN for the transfer of the return.

In cases of exchanges, your refund may be made using a voucher for the value of the item(s) returned. Possible subsequent returns of items purchased with a voucher will always be made using a voucher. Vouchers are non-refundable and valid for 6 months.

If the returned items are damaged or show signs of use, BM reserves the right not to accept the return and refuse to refund them.

In cases of defect or non-conformity of the ordered products, BM is responsible for collecting the item(s) at an address of the customer's choice. Collections are only accepted in the country of origin in which the respective order was sent, excluding islands. When collection is scheduled and, for reasons attributable to the customer, it has not been achieved, it is the customer's responsibility to send it.

It is the customer's responsibility to check that the items are in perfect condition before removing the tags.

When, after return, the order is below €100 and the order has taken advantage of the free shipping campaign, BM reserves the right to deduct this amount from your return.
